N BSUAC took part in the Fifth Professors’ Forum

The Fifth Professors’ Forum «Science and Education in the Context of Global Challenges» was held in Moscow from November 22nd to 24th. The objectives of the forum answered the main questions of time - support of the Decade of Science and Technology, discussion of current problems and scientific achievements, identification of priorities for the development of science and education, as well as the role of the Russian scientific and educational elite in their implementation.

The Head of the Department of Library and Information Activities, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Neonila Turanina took part in the work.

The forum consisted of a plenary session at which representatives of the Ministry of Education, Rectors of higher education institutions of  Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Belgorod and other cities spoke. The problems of patriotic education of youth in the modern situation, the development of Russian higher education, science and scientific technologies were discussed.

The problems of state regulation of educational activities of universities, digital competencies in the field of training specialists, cognitive technologies of modern science and many others were raised within the sections «Vector of the development in education: strategy and tactics», «Digital challenges in science and education» and others.

The fifth Professors’ Forum was held at several venues: the Moscow Government House, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Education, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State Linguistic University.
